Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper's mouth got him in trouble this week. It's usually his hands am I right? Okay I'll stop now.But the former Florida Gator, who is by far giving his alma matter a really bad look this summer...wait there's another one? Aaron who?
Anyway, there he is at a Kenny Chesney concert, wearing cut off flannel because that's always a good look, and he does this:
(If you're squeemish when it comes to offensive language or overall awkward and socially inept, don't watch it. That's my warning I guess.)
I mean there are worse things that have happened to members of the Philadelphia Eagles :cough cough: Mike Vick :cough cough: but this shows just how stupid Riley Cooper really is. If you have Shady McCoy saying he's lost respect for you, well then, you must have messed up.
There are eyes on you at all times. Especially when you're a professional athlete. Someone is going to recognize you everywhere you go and cameras will be rolling most of the time. You have kids watching, ones that consider you a role model and Cooper, like many, many, many other professional athletes has taken that for granted.
How many football players have been arrested this offseason? 31. THIRTY-ONE. That's a hell of a lot more shameful than the words of some country bumpkin who still can't get a grasp on society. But because racism is still clearly evident today, this is news, and I'm commenting on it. Kind of messed up isn't it?
